Barn finds are the ultimate treasure hunt for automotive enthusiasts. Hidden gems are often found tucked away in dusty garages, forgotten sheds and barns. Others are left outside, exposed to the elements – as is the case for this 1977 Ford Bronco. And unfortunately, it’s likely going to stay that way.
Discovered by Tom of Hagerty on YouTube, this 1977 Ford Bronco has been parked for decades. Tom set out to find a desirable “barn find” car by diving off onto a random road. The Bronco, which was once orange, called to him from underneath its lichen-covered exterior.
The Bronco’s owner says he bought it in 1985 for $5,000 from a neighbor. It served as his daily driver for some time until he eventually parked it. All things considered, its engine – a 302 – is in decent shape, and its owner claims that it was running as recently as one year prior to the video. It’s showing 108,400 original miles, making it a low-mileage relic from decades past.
As for why it was parked, the owner says that he picked up other, smaller vehicles, plus another truck, and just didn’t need it anymore. He’d consider selling it for the right price, though, assuming that an interested buyer approached him with a $200,000 check in hand. Tom estimates that this 1977 Ford Bronco could be worth about $18,000, given that its body is in decent shape and it doesn’t show the usual rot that affects Broncos from that generation.
The owner fully intends to fix his 1977 Ford Bronco up someday, but for now, it will sit unused in his driveway. It’s a shame, considering that the vintage Bronco is one of the more valuable models in terms of appreciation, and are a popular choice among Hollywood celebrities. Perhaps someone with deep pockets could save this Bronco from crumbling into rust.
Other rare Ford barn finds unearthed include an extremely rare Ford Cortina GT wagon.

Yep, if you spend 3 yrs and $40k on a nut and bolt restoration, you might fetch $100,000 for it. As it sits it is worth $20k if solid, no new sheet metal required.
