2003 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition Heading To Auction

Iconic American manufacturers Ford and Harley-Davidson have teamed up to offer a special Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition pickup for a few model years, and we’ve seen a few nice ones pop up for sale as of late, which makes sense given their inherent collectibility. Later examples of the Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson pickup even packed some extra horsepower under the hood to go along with their slick styling, and that includes this rather low-mile 2003 example that just surfaced for sale, too.

This 2003 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition pickup is slated to be auctioned off at Mecum’s upcoming Glendale, Arizona sale in March, and it has a mere 7,500 miles showing on the odometer. What makes it particularly interesting, otherwise, is the fact that it was purchased by a previous owner from the Dealer Road Tour, an event that was used to promote both Ford and Harley-Davidson years ago. It has since remained in the possession of the seller since 2012.

Decked out in 100th anniversary guise, this F-150 H-D pickup is finished in two-tone silver and black on the outside with unique features like 20-inch wheels, a body kit, special exterior trim, fog lights, chrome side steps, and of course, plenty of badging letting everyone know that it’s something special. Inside the cabin, one will find black and silver leather seating, along with an upgraded sound system, too. Power comes from a fortified version of the supercharged 5.4L V8 that was detuned just a touch compared to the F-150 SVT Lightning, meaning that it churns out 340 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque, flowing to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.

We tend to see Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition pickups like this one surface for sale on a fairly frequent basis, and we’ve spotted a couple of them in recent months, too. That includes a 2002 model with 2k miles on the clock, as well as another 2003 that’s very similar to this one – albeit, with a few more flaws and 20k miles.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. These on-line auctions tend to be great for sellers but not so much for buyers. Very few real deals here. Be prepared to pay top dollar for anything of interest whether it’s really worth it or not. It’s fast becoming just another rich man’s sport.
