In recent years, we’ve watched as the values of Ford F-150 models from specific – typically older – generations have skyrocketed, all the way up to the 1990s, in fact. We’ve even come across a handful of 2000s F-150 pickups listed for sale at auction with low miles on the clock, which sort of makes sense given the fact that they’re decades old at this point. However, what we haven’t seen a lot of are Ford F-150 models from the 2010s hitting collector car auctions, though that is starting to change in a big way – just take this 2013 model as an example.
This 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCab is slated to be auctioned off at Mecum’s Glendale, Arizona sale next month, and it has a rather low 15k miles showing on the odometer. It’s finished in black on the outside with gold lower body trim that looks to be in perfect condition, too. The pickup rolls on the original alloy wheels and features a chrome grille, running boards, window rain guards, and a Rugged Liner bedliner out back.
Inside the cabin, one will find a tan leather interior along with a pair of bucket seats up front with a center console, plus amenities including cruise control, power windows, power locks, and power side mirrors. The F-150 comes with the original window sticker, owner’s manual, and a clean CarFax. Power comes from the naturally-aspirated Ford 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, which is mated to an automatic transmission.
In addition to this very nice 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat, we’ve seen a few other notable examples of this particular generation of pickup pop up for sale lately, too. That includes an older 2010 F-150 Lariat with 14k miles on the clock, plus a 2014 F-150 Tremor with 32k miles – a one-year-only model focused on street performance, sold in regular cab form with the twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost making a healthy 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque.
