2017 Ford Focus RS With 24K Miles Up For Auction

Though the Ford Focus has been absent from The Blue Oval’s U.S. lineup for some time now, production of that model will cease altogether later this year, marking the end of the line for the once-popular entity. However, the Focus remains a popular used vehicle option in the U.S. thanks to its affordable price tag and excellent efficiency, two things that are hard to find on the new or used vehicle market these days. As for the high-performance Ford Focus RS, it has also become a red-hot collectible as of late, as we’re seeing a lot of nice examples surface for sale at auction – including this 2017 model.

This 2017 Ford Focus RS is currently up for auction at Cars & Bids with just 24k miles on the clock, and as such, it remains in great condition. The only noted flaws are the typical chips and scratches marring its Frozen White paint, and that’s about it. Otherwise, it’s a nice example of its breed, equipped with the optional RS2 Package, 19-inch forged wheels (which aren’t installed at the moment), a power sunroof, leather/microsuede upholstery, Recaro seats, Sync 3, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

This Ford Focus RS is far from stock, however. Rather, it has been treated to a laundry list of modifications that include an ECU tune, an ETS intake and intercooler, a Turbosmart blow-off valve and wastegate actuator, dual catch cans, a Milltek Sport downpipe and exhaust, aftermarket 18-inch wheels, updated Ford dampers, and Whiteline USA coils, adjustable sway bars, and adjustable links. Power comes from the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which was factory rated to produce 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque – but may make more given these upgrades – and it’s mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

This is just one of many nice Ford Focus RS models we’ve spotted at auction as of late, a list that also includes another 2017 model with 44k miles, a 2016 with just 500 miles, and a 2018 Focus RS Limited Edition that has traveled 17k miles thus far.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
