2022-2024 Ford Expedition Performance Calibrations Revealed

Ford has offered a vast array of performance calibrations for many vehicles over the years – most of them targeted at enthusiast models, however. That has changed in a big way in recent years as the automaker has discovered that plenty of folks driving all kinds of vehicles are interested in unlocking some additional performance from them, especially since one can retain the factory warranty while doing so. Now, those that own a 2022-2024 Ford Expedition or Lincoln Navigator can get in on the fun, too.

Ford Performance has just launched a new performance calibration for the 2022-2022 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, which is listed in that catalog under part number M-9603-EN35 for $825. Depending on the trim and model, outputs vary, however. In the Ford Expedition XL and XLT equipped with the regular twin turbocharged 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, the calibration lifts output from 380 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque up to 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet, for starters.

For models equipped with the higher-output versions of the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost – the Ford Expedition Limited, Stealth Performance, Timberline, King Ranch, and Platinum, as well as the Navigator – the new performance calibration increases output from the stock ratings of 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet for the Expedition Limited, King Ranch, and Platinum, or 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque for other models up to 456 horsepower and 554 pound-feet.

It’s worth noting that premium fuel is required, and these calibrations are not approved for use in California. However, they do come with a three-year, 36k-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty from new vehicle in-service date when installed at a Ford dealer or by an ASE/Red Seal certified technician. Otherwise, this new calibration joins a host of others that have launched recently, including ones for vehicles such as the Ford Explorer ST, 2021-2023 Ford F-150 and F-150 Raptor pickups with the 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine, the 2024 Ford Ranger with the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, and both the Ford Bronco Raptor and Ford Ranger Raptor.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
