The refreshed 2025 Ford Maverick debuted with a host of updates for the ever-popular compact pickup, but all of those goodies came at a price. In some cases, the 2025 Ford Maverick got quite a bit pricier than its predecessor, in fact, with the base XL model increasing by $2,375 to $26,295 – a far cry from the sub-$20k price tag the Maverick sported when it debuted in 2022, albeit, without destination charges included. However, 2025 Ford Maverick prices have actually increased even more since last August, too.
2025 Ford Maverick Price | 2025 Ford Maverick Price – Summer 2024 | + / – Summer 2024 Price | |
---|---|---|---|
XL EcoBoost | $26,995 | $26,295 | +$700 |
XLT EcoBoost | $29,495 | $28,795 | +$700 |
Lariat EcoBoost | $37,290 | $36,735 | +$555 |
Tremor | $40,350 | $39,795 | +$555 |
Lobo 402A | $35,255 | $35,100 | +$155 |
Lobo 702A | $40,750 | $40,495 | +$255 |
XL Hybrid | $26,995 | $26,295 | +$700 |
XLT Hybrid | $29,495 | $28,795 | +$700 |
Lariat Hybrid | $37,290 | $36,735 | +$555 |
Destination | $1,595 | $1,595 | $0 |
According to CarsDirect, pricing of the 2025 Ford Maverick XL and XLT Hybrid pickups just increased by another $445, meaning that the electrified model now costs a whopping $7,100 more than it did when it debuted for the 2022 model year – $28,590 including the mandatory destination charge of $1,595, compared to $21,490 previously with the same charge included.
As we can see in the chart above, the entire 2025 Ford Maverick lineup has received an additional price increase compared to last summer, when the refreshed pickup first debuted. These price increases range from $155 for the Maverick Lobo with the entry-level 402A equipment group up to $700 for several models, including the XL and XLT EcoBoost, as well as the XL and XLT Hybrids.
As such, it could certainly prove difficult to find a 2025 Ford Maverick with a price tag of less than $30,000, which is notable given the fact that The Blue Oval is now touting the fact that the compact pickup – along with the Ford Bronco Sport – can be purchased for under that mark. As Ford Authority recently reported, FoMoCo added an image to its website showing the 2025 Maverick and Bronco Sport, telling its customers that they can indeed “plan big, without breaking the bank,” given the fact that both have MSRPs that start under $30,000. However, it’s worth noting that the Bronco Sport’s MSRP of $29,995 easily crests that mark with the mandatory destination fee added.

This is another example of FORD’S “consumer be damned” business model.
Yup. You said it well
All I can say is I’m glad I bought my ’22 Mav 3 years ago. The design is based on the F150 where the Maverick truck is its little brother. The ’25 is repulsive with its foreign look, thanx to junior idiot engineers given free rein on design. Equally idiots are those who approved it for retail. Should fire them all and them to Toyota where they’ll fit right in
It’s supposed to be a truck, bring back the physical HVAC controls!
Ford should be giving huge rebates to offset the ugly front end of 25 Maverick. What a design mistake. Ford ruined the front end of the 25 Maverick. Deal breaker.
You want ugly, you gotta pay for it!
With taxes the little cheap truck is 30,000 for the base model. No way would pay that.
You have a Bonafide sales hit the best way to kill it is to keep raising the price
This can’t be right. Maverick prices only go up on days ending in ‘y’.
