Three new colors are available for the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E, including Desert Sand, Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, and Velocity Blue Metallic. Here’s everything you need to know about Desert Sand.
Tagged with paint code VA, Desert Sand is offered on all 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E trims as a no-cost option. It’s offered in conjunction with all interior colorways and is also available alongside the optional Bronze Appearance Package and Mach-E Rally Package. It can also be paired with the black painted steel roof, which is a standalone $695 option.
For reference, the following list shows all available 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E colors (relevant paint codes listed in parentheses):
- Star White Metallic Tinted Tri-Coat (AZ)
- Grabber Yellow (DB)
- Eruption Green Metallic (FA)
- Shadow Black (G1)
- Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat (R7)
- Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (DT) (New for 2025)

Finally, the following includes all 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E trims:

The addition of the aforementioned colors comes at the cost of three others. Grabber Blue Metallic, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, and Vapor Blue Metallic are all gone from the lineup.
Buyers can now build and price their ideal 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E via the online configurator, which allows them to select all options offered while keeping a running tally of its cost. And speaking of pricing, the 2025 Mustang Mach-E is actually much cheaper than its 2024 model year counterpart, starting at $36,495 for the base Select trim. That’s $3,500 cheaper than the same trim ran for 2024.
The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E gets a host of changes and updates. This includes the new Sport Appearance Package for the Premium trim as well as a smaller frunk to make way for an improved heat pump – although the crossover now has more storage in certain areas than the 2024 model it replaced. It will also be the first to get the new BlueCruise 1.5 update when it is released.
Production of the 2025 Mustang Mach-E, which occurs at the Cuautitlan Assembly plant in Mexico, began on January 6th, 2025.

I really like this color. I hope to see it on more models including Lincolns. Though I wonder if it would look even better if it was metallic
Hate these colors Ford is coming out with they must be getting a huge price break. I really do not want my vehicle looking like it just got painted the US army for desert warfare.
They offer several colors…
Not on the Ranger Raptor they do not even offer a Red on the Raptor. Only have 6 colors on the King Ranch. These other 5 different shades of gray or primer looking colors that look like base coats and then other two real colors. Fords color choices suck to put it mildly and to top it off no V6 in the two door Bronco unless you want the trophy truck color theme which I do not want. Wanted a two door badlands V6 Bronco but Ford just took that off the board in any trim, other than the ugly trophy truck theme Bronco they want 75 k for.
Wow’ another dull boring color fromFord. At least they are tops in horrible exterior colors, plus they offer basically grey and black interiors .
Limited models, ugly colors and just BLAND OVERALL. Plus that ugly Mach e slotted tab base model front end is so cheap looking and ugly
My wife hates those colors like white and similar. They are hard to see, especially in snowy conditions.
Bright colors jump out no matter the conditions.
5 colors and 3 non-colors. Good to see the bland-ugly-rental look fad start to die out.
