As The Blue Oval continues to refine its electric crossover to help it stay competitive in the rapidly evolving EV market, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E delivered a handful of significant changes. This includes the addition of the Sport Appearance Package, an optional extra for the Premium trim. We’re taking a look at what’s bundled in the all-new package, and, of course, what it costs to acquire.
The Sport Appearance Package (option code 55R) is exclusive to the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium, where it costs $2,995 to equip. It bundles a host of dark- and red-themed exterior accents to give the electric crossover a sportier look, as the name implies. This includes the 19-inch Monochromatic High Gloss Black-painted wheels, which replace the Premium’s standard 19-inch Bright Machined Face aluminum wheels with Black-painted pockets. Behind those Monochromatic wheels rest a set of red-painted Brembo calipers all around, adding a point of visual interest to the electric crossover’s exterior.
Up front, the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium Sport Appearance Package sports a unique front fascia, featuring a body-color upper portion over a black-painted lower half. The grille shield is finished in Gloss Black, setting it apart from its “regular” Premium brethren, while Black-painted front and rear door cladding carry the sinister theme through, rounded out by the rear lower fascia finished in the same color.
Inside, the Sport Appearance Package brings another set of unique touches visible to passengers of the Mustang Mach-E. This includes unique red accent stitching on the seats, door trim, steering wheel, and center console lid. A set of Sport pedals help control the vehicle while lending a race-inspired aesthetic to its interior as well.
Pricing for the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium starts at $39,995, not including destination freight charges (DFC). For reference, that’s $4,000 less than the same model cost for the 2024 model year. Prospective buyers can now build and price their ideal luxury crossover thanks to the online configurator, which keeps a running tally of what a particular model will cost them.
Production of the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E at the Cuautitlan Assembly plant in Mexico began on January 6th, 2025, as Ford Authority previously reported.
