2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum Plus: Package Spotlight

The 2025 Ford Super Duty introduced a slew of updates and changes for The Blue Oval’s heavy duty hauler, including the deletion of the Limited trim which was effectively replaced with the all-new Platinum Plus equipment group. Ford Authority is shedding light on that new package, including its content and what it costs.

The 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum Plus is an add-on for the range-topping Platinum trim, adding $6,500 to the cost of the heavy duty pickup. It’s not offered on any other trim, and requires that the High Output 6.7L Power Stroke V8 engine be equipped. It includes a host of exterior and interior accents.

Starting from the outside, the 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum Plus gets a unique satin finish grille with bright chrome inserts, immediately declaring its status in the trim hierarchy to onlookers. Its door handles and tailgate applique also sport a satin finish, and the pickup rolls on a set of 20-inch Bright with Dark Carbonized Gray High Gloss-painted aluminum wheels.

Meanwhile, inside, the Platinum Plus equipment group graces the 2025 Ford Super Duty with a unique Smoked Truffle interior environment, featuring premium Venetian leather seats with French stitching and upgraded perforated seating surfaces. Premium suede wrapped front pillars are stationed on either side of the cockpit, while the door panels also get Venetian leather surfaces with French stitching. Exclusive floor mats carry that theme right through to the floorboards, as does the steering wheel, which is wrapped with a luxurious Smoked Truffle leather. Illuminated scuff plates welcome passengers into the cab, while power adjustable front seats keep them comfortable.

The 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum Plus also features a twin-panel power moonroof, while passengers can take advantage of Pro Power Onboard and six built-in upfitter switches. Finally, owners are entitled to the Platinum Plus Experience, which includes a premium maintenance plan for two years, an exclusive welcome package and personal gift, FordPass Rewards benefits, on-demand texting with a Ford truck expert.

Note that the 2025 Ford Super Duty no longer features certain chrome parts that were found on the 2024 model year counterpart. Meanwhile, gasoline V8 engines are now standard across the lineup, while several SuperCab configurations have been stricken from the options list. Production of the heavy duty pickup line is already underway, as previously reported by Ford Authority.

  1. No thanks. I’ll wait for the Platinum “Extra Super Duper Hey Look At Me” version for an additional $20K. And the repo man can follow me home.
