Back in 2021, The Blue Oval announced that Ford Bronco and Ford Bronco Sport Badlands/First Edition buyers would be eligible to attend a new off-road driving school dubbed the Bronco Off-Roadeo, which has only expanded in the years since then. That expansion included the addition of the first-ever all-female “Ladies’ Day” event at the Bronco Off-Roadeo, which was subsequently offered a couple of additional times afterward. Now, the Ford Bronco Off-Roadeo Ladies’ Day event is making a comeback for the new year, too.
According to Bronco Nation, the next Off-Roadeo Ladies’ Day is set to take place on March 8th in Nevada, which also happens to be International Women’s Day, but that class is already fully booked. However, additional Ladies’ Day events have been added for the Moab Ford Bronco Off-Roadeo location on May 16th, followed by New Hampshire on July 18th. In Moab, both Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport owners are eligible to attend, but New Hampshire is reserved for Bronco owners only. Those interested in signing up for one of these two dates can do so by heading over here.
The purpose of the Bronco Off-Roadeo Ladies’ Day gatherings are to make women a bit more comfortable in what has historically been a male-dominated hobby of off-roading. Even the Bronco Trail Guides are all women, and are there to teach participants all of the ins and outs of that particular activity and their SUVs, from its GOAT modes to sway bar disconnect and how to use those features to tackle various off-road trails and obstacles.
“The all-female Trail Guide Team was soooo helpful,” said Bronco Off-Roadeo Ladies’ Day attendee Michelle B. “I didn’t feel stupid asking many questions. They were so patient with my lack of skills and experience. I didn’t know how I could do what we learned to do that day! I’m so much more confident in my capabilities and my Bronco’s as well.”
