Ford Dealers In Arizona Cover Admissions For WM Phoenix

Advertising and sponsorship are powerful tools that help put The Blue Oval in the spotlight. In recent years, Ford sponsorship includes events like the Kentucky DerbyConmebol Libertadores (the American Liberators’ Cup), La Unión Argentina de Rugby (UAR), along with Disney group and the National Football League (NFL). Last year, Ford extended its support to the Phoenix LPGA Tour, and this year, Ford dealers are continuing their relationship with golf fans in Phoenix, offering free admissions to the upcoming WM Phoenix Open.

Compliments of local Ford dealers, fans can enjoy the WM Phoenix Open for free on February 3rd and 4th, 2025, during the aptly named “Ford Free Days.” In addition, Ford dealers are sponsoring the eighth annual closest-to-the-pin contest, called “Ford Drive One for Arizona Charities.” This contest will be held on the 16th hole. Participants will have the chance to win $10,000 that will be donated to one of 12 local nonprofits.

“This year marks the ninth consecutive partnership between ‘The People’s Open’ and Ford to offer free admission to our fans to kick off tournament week,” said 2025 Tournament Chairman Matt Mooney in a press release. “We’re very proud to continue this initiative. It not only reflects our dedication to local communities, but also ensures that even as the tournament has continued to grow, every WM Phoenix Open fan can enjoy all the tournament has to offer.”

In addition to sponsoring admissions to the WM Phoenix Open, Ford will show off a handful of its latest models, including its electric vehicles and their gas-burning counterparts. These vehicles will be on display near the driving range, and will also be parked at various intervals along the course itself. Arizona Ford dealers will also contribute more than 150 courtesy vehicles during the tournament week, which will include a fleet of 2024 and 2025 model year Ford Explorer, Ford F-150, Ford Expedition, and Ford Ranger models. These vehicles will be sold at local Ford stores after the event is complete.

“We can’t wait to once again bring ‘Ford Free Days’ and the Ford Drive One for Arizona Charities initiative to the WM Phoenix Open,” said Herb Jernukian, Chairman of Arizona Ford Dealers. “This tournament is a special event that unites the community, and we’re proud to support it while giving back to meaningful causes across Arizona. We hope everyone takes advantage of Monday and Tuesday’s free admission.”
