The 2025 motorsports season has hardly begun, and Ford Performance is coming in hot already. The Blue Oval’s racing arm is already raking in the trophies across a range of vastly different racing series, setting the stage for a dominant season across all manner of international motorsports.
The 2025 Dakar Rally kicked things off on a high note for the Ford Performance Raptor T1+ racers. Not only did Ford snap up a stage win, the automaker’s off-road racers followed it up with a second stage victory before rolling out of the Saudi Arabian desert with a podium finish under its belt. The Dakar Rally marked the first gallop in the desert for the Raptor T1+, and it’s only expected to build on that success moving forward.
The Ford Mustang GT3, meanwhile, went winless in its maiden season in 2024. But it burst onto the 2025 racing scene by winning its class in the 2025 Rolex 24, beating out several Corvettes in the GTD Pro division to take its first global victory in sportscar racing. That’s a huge milestone for The Blue Oval’s motorsports arm – they’ve officially made friends with the all-new, Dark Horse-based racer, and have the rest of the season to back that performance up.
The Ford Bronco, meanwhile, kicked ass in the 2025 King of the Hammers. Three Bronco racers accounted for all three of the top finishers in the event, proving the automaker’s prowess once again when it comes to off-road racing. It’s one of the toughest races in motorsports, period, and the fact Ford Performance conquered it means that the automaker is one of, if not the, biggest threats on the racing scene.
Looking ahead, it’s only going to get better from here. The 2025 Daytona 500 is just around the corner, kicking off the NASCAR season with a bang. The Blue Oval has taken home the crown jewel of stock car racing 17 times, and could very well do it again this year. In Australia, Ford is adopting Triple Eight Racing in 2026, taking Supercars’ most dominant team under its wing. Don’t forget the Ford Red Bull Racing F1 project, which will begin racing in 2026, and the automaker’s triumphant return to prototype racing is on the horizon for the 2027 season.
