In order to qualify for the Top Employer certification, a company must perform exceptionally well in six HR-related categories divided into 20 subtopics, including people strategy, workplace, talent acquisition, learning, wellbeing, along with diversity and inclusion.

“We are very pleased to receive the Top Employer certification for the third consecutive year, which recognizes companies’ excellence in people management,” said Fernanda Ramos, HR Director for Ford South America. “We are an innovative, technology-focused company, and an important pillar of our strategic plan is to offer development opportunities and meaningful experiences to our employees to attract and retain the talent that is part of this transformation.”

David Plink, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, echoed his sentiments, saying, “It’s inspiring to see people and organizations overcome challenges amidst ever-changing technological, economic and social landscapes. This year, the Top Employers Certification Program highlights the dedication of companies that continue to set the standard by consistently implementing world-class HR strategies and practices that foster growth, well-being and enrich the world of work.”

Beyond its status as a Top Employer, The Blue Oval enjoyed a notable uptick in sales during the 2024 calendar year in the Brazilian market. Sales across Ford’s lineup totaled 48,311 units, increasing an impressive 68 percent when compared to its sales throughout the 2023 calendar year. Notably, the Ford Ranger led the pack; the midsize pickup outsold the rest of its FoMoCo brethren by more than four times, posting 31,860 sales last year. Comparatively, the next-best seller was the Ford Territory, posting 5,631 sales from January through December 2024, signaling that Ford’s relationship with Brazilian buyers is only growing.

  2. The Rangers for the brazilian market are manufactured in Pacheco, Argentina. Ford invested heavily in that plant, making it one of the most modern Ford factories in the world.
