The 2025 Ford Super Duty mostly stayed the course after a significant redesign for the 2023 model year, earning a few important updates and changes, including to its pricing structure. While there are more affordable options in the lineup, when fully kitted out, the Super Duty can fetch well over $100,000, putting a dent in the wallets of its buyers – but that price tag ensures that it gets enough features to make it a worthy competitor on the heavy duty hauler scene.
To make the priciest 2025 Ford Super Duty, we’re starting with the F-450 Platinum, which starts at $94,035, excluding destination freight charges (DFC). There are a handful of no-cost paint options offered up, but the flashier colors can cost up to $995. We’re choosing Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat, one of those $995 options.
The 2025 Ford Super Duty F-450 comes standard with the 6.7L Power Stroke V8 turbodiesel, but for those seeking even more power, The Blue Oval offers a High Output version of the engine as a $3,000 upgrade. Choosing this engine grants 500 horsepower and 1,500 pound-feet of torque, making the heavy duty pickup even more of a beast than before.
There’s also a number of optional packages offered up. This includes the Platinum Plus Package, a $6,500 upgrade that effectively takes the place of the Limited trim level. This package bundles exterior aesthetic accents, a special interior colorway, a moonroof, Pro Power Onboard, and more. The FX4 Off-Road Package adds a host of performance upgrades, including meaty BSW Traction Tires, an electronic locking differential, and limited slip rear axle, for $495. We’re also giving ours the optional $400 Vehicle Integration System 2.0, which helps streamline the process of upfitting the 2025 Ford Super Duty.
With all that equipment tacked on, plus the relevant DFC, the 2025 Ford Super Duty gets a $107,420 price tag.
Note that the 2025 Ford Super Duty no longer features certain chrome parts that were found on the 2024 model year counterpart. Meanwhile, gasoline V8 engines are now standard across the lineup, while several SuperCab configurations have been stricken from the options list. Production of the heavy duty pickup line is already underway, as previously reported by Ford Authority.
