Neon Ford And Shelby Signs Up For Auction

While sifting through online collector car auctions, we regularly come across cool, rare, low-mile, and otherwise interesting Ford models from the past and present. Some of these vehicles aren’t worth much at all, while others sell for millions of dollars, and there’s clearly some stark diversity when it comes to those machines of interest, too. However, it isn’t just actual automobiles that we find at auction at least semi-frequently – collectors are also interested in a variety of signs, furniture, models, and other Blue Oval memorabilia as well, and those folks can now bid on these very cool neon Ford and Shelby signs, too.

This collection of three Ford and Shelby neon signs is currently up for auction at Bring a Trailer, consisting of a round sign with the Shelby logo, another round unit with Ford Authorized Service script, and a third that’s rectangular in shape and sporting the Ford V8 logo. Each of these signs utilizes a black, skeleton-style frame, 120-volt circuitry, chain-pull switches, three-prong power cords, and neon tubing that lights up for added effect.

The Shelby sign features a yellow and green cobra logo with red lettering and color-coordinated neon, measuring in at around 24 inches in diameter – which is the same size as the blue and white Ford Authorized Service sign. The Ford V8 sign measures around 53 inches tall by eight inches wide, and is also finished in blue and white with matching neon tubing. The round signs weigh around 15 pounds, but the seller didn’t note how hefty the rectangular unit is.

This is just the latest collection of cool and notable Ford memorabilia that we’ve spotted in recent months, a list that includes quite a few signs as well. Those include, most recently, a retro Ford V8 neon sign, a neon Ford Jubilee crest sign, and a neon Ford service sign, to name just a few.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
