The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport debuted the first full refresh for the soft-roader crossover, gaining a slew of new tech and modest updates to its interior and exterior styling. Ford Authority recently asked for your input on whether or not that updated exterior was actually an improvement, and later, we polled our reads to find out where you stand on the crossover’s interior, too. While the general consensus is that the 2025 Bronco Sport improves on its 2024 predecessor, it begs the question: was the 2025 refresh enough, or does the crossover need a more substantial update?
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport refresh was headlined by the addition of the all-new Sasquatch Package along with new tech and Sync 4 capabilities. The Sasquatch Package fits the “baby Bronco” with a variety of off-road-ready upgrades and features right off the showroom floor. Exclusively offered for the Outer Banks and Badlands trims, the Sasquatch Package costs $3,535 and $2,990, respectively.
This package bundles things like advanced 4X4, auxiliary switches and wiring, recovery hooks, Trail Control with One-Pedal Driving, the HOSS 2.0 Off-Road Suspension, and more. Its addition to the Bronco Sport lineup is notable, catering to the off-road crowd while emphasizing the Bronco Sport’s small but mighty stature.
Inside, it gets a new, larger, 13.2-inch center infotainment touchscreen with Sync 4 capabilities. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard fare, along with over-the-air (OTA) update functionality. It also gets a separate 12.3-inch digital instrument display with a set of animations inspired by the Bronco Raptor.
Other than the aforementioned Sasquatch Package and tech updates, the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport plays it safe in terms of exterior and interior aesthetic alterations. In fact, it really didn’t change much at all as far as looks go, aside from the addition of “Bronco Bolts” out back and a new front bumper with steel bash plates. But those changes could be considered subtle or even lacking.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport only just began landing at dealers in the U.S., a few months after production kicked off at the Hermosillo Assembly plant in Mexico on November 11th, 2024. For what it’s worth, the 2025 Bronco Sport is one of Consumer Reports’ recommended vehicles, indicating that despite its minimal changes, it’s still a good buy.
We want to hear from you. Let us know what you think of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport update by voting in the poll below – was the refresh enough, or should Ford have been a little bolder and switched things up to a greater extent?

I got one last week, and I’m pleasantly surprised at how nice a vehicle it is. I got a Badlands, with all the options. The ride, power, interior, and the overall look is great. I understand people wanting a lot more exterior changes, but if it ain’t broke…. Get yourself one, you won’t regret it.
I’m planning to buy one right after tax season. Thanks for your input.
Not a fan of having 2 horrible products in the same market segment. The Escape has a wimpy style and cheap interior… not commensurate with its price. The BSport has a clumsy style, cheap interior, loud cabin, and miserable fuel efficiency. The 1st and 3rd generation Escapes hit the bull’s eye for functional styling and value.
And I am happy because I will buy a fully loaded 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands anyway.
Do we know what Ford and dealers will do with Trump’s new tariffs? Should we expect to see the “market adjustment” fee stickers next to the Moroney sticker? If so, the Bronco Sport will be out of my price range and I’ll have to look for something else.
Buttons and knobs, knobs and buttons! Touch screen controls are a safety distraction. Wrong direction for safety and driving pleasure. Also prefer cloth seats. Fake leather is just as bad as vinyl.
Fake leather IS vinyl I think, but when my muddy dog jumps into the back seat I am glad I have it.
I’d buy one today if it had an automatic lift tailgate
I had a Subaru Outback with electric tail gate and it was a pain in the ass. We had isssues with it not opening when the lift arm fell off and it is extremely heavy without the lift motor working.
I just bought a 24 Badlands loaded. Fuel milage is poor for the size of the vehicle. And road noise is really bad. But it goes like stink. The 2.0 is really smooth and extremely quiet. A very refined 4 banger with a great working transmission. Shifts really good and very refined feeling. The fueling is spot on with no issues. The tech is fantastic. It was a smart move for Ford to bring it to market.
As with everything does has put outaty lately, cut at least $5k off the price and it’ll be worth considering.
*ford has put out
The facelift sucks slapping gaudy silver plastic on the front bumper and raising the MSRP isn’t a good ideal for sales growth.
