Roush Performance offers a range of upgrades designed to improve handling, power, and the overall driving experience of the Ford Mustang. The most recent addition to the Mustang upgrade list are the new front and rear adjustable sway bars, which are offered as a complete kit with everything owners need to install.
The new sway bars cover a decade of Ford Mustang models, fitting all 2015 through 2025 model year pony cars, including EcoBoost, GT, GT350, and Dark Horse trims. The sway bars are fully compatible with all Mustangs featuring a MagneRide suspension, and even those without. They’re powder-coated in “Roush Red” for a tough, corrosion-resistant finish, and feature a three-point adjustable design that allows customers to tweak the stiffness to their preference. The front sway bar measures in at 1.375 inches (35 mm) in diameter, and the rears are 1-inch (25 mm) in diameter. Each kit includes everything needed for installation, including bushings, lubricant, brake line relocation brackets, and mounts. While Roush notes that the installation can be done with “garage tools,” it can take up to six hours and is rated with an intermediate difficulty. Buyers can access the installation instructions on Roush’s website, which gives detailed step-by-step instructions, from removal of the stock sway bars to the proper placement of the new components.

The aforementioned front and rear adjustable sway bar kit is just the latest in a growing lineup of Ford Mustang upgrade parts offered by Roush. They join the supercharger kit for the 5.0L Coyote V8 engine, along with an axle-back exhaust, which are designed for the seventh-gen Mustang. They also offer an active exhaust for the sixth-gen pony car.
