Over the years, the SEMA Show in Las Vegas has served as the ultimate automotive aftermarket showcase for all kinds of parts, as well as complete builds. There, we’ve seen our fair share of wild and over-the-top one-off machines created specifically to show off what’s possible in the world of automotive customization, many of which wind up being sold off after their time in the spotlight. That list now includes this 2017 Ford F-250 customized by RealTruck and NBA legend Dwyane Wade, which was shown off at the 2024 SEMA Show.
Now, this 2017 Ford F-250 “Champions Edition” model is set to be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson’s 2025 Palm Beach sale next month, and it features a host of modifications in most every conceivable category. On the outside, those include custom graphics highlighting some of Wade’s accomplishments, ICI bumpers, power running boards and bed steps, a RetraxPRO MX tonneau cover, a custom deck cargo glide, Bushwacker fender flares, gold chrome door handles and side mirrors, and a billet tailgate appliqué.
This F-250 rolls on a set of custom gold wheels with Beijing Olympics floating center caps, which are wrapped in 37-inch BFGoodrich tires. The pickup features a six-inch Superlift kit with King coilovers and rear shocks, coupled with custom lighting throughout and a well equipped interior that features Katzkin seats, a Kicker sound system, and a LinksWell Tesla-style touchscreen. Power comes from the naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8 Boss engine, which is mated to the eight-speed automatic transmission.
This is just the latest Blue Oval SEMA veteran that we’ve spotted up for sale in recent months, a list that has proven rather long, in fact. It includes a heavily modified 2017 Ford Super Duty F-350 built by Hellwig Suspension Products, a 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands from House of Mouse Racing, and a 2022 Ford Maverick purchased new and subsequently modified by The Hot Rod Shop in Corinth, Mississippi.
Potentially announcing new models.
Available nationwide on the subcompact luxury crossover.
A ball joint nut is the culprit for this recall.
The new model will likely change that.
