The refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport broke cover late last year, debuting a number of changes for the off-road crossover from its reworked fascia to its overhauled cockpit and the all-new Sasquatch Package. Another change involves the availability of the crossover’s rubberized seatbacks, which are no longer offered on two trims for the 2025 model year.
The rubberized seatbacks and seatback mat, which were applied to the second row seats, are no longer available for the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend and Free Wheeling trims. They were previously offered as a $95 extra on the aforementioned trims.
However, though they’ve been removed from Big Bend and Free Wheeling models, the rubberized seatbacks are still available on the 2025 Ford Bronco. They’re standard on Badlands models, meaning they do not cost extra on this trim. They’re also bundled into the $2,750 Black Diamond Off-Road Package for Big Bend, along with the Sasquatch Outer Banks Package, which is a $3,535 option for Outer Banks models.
Other standout features on the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport include the new Off-Road GOAT mode along with Trail One-Pedal Drive, the 360-Degree Camera with Trail View, the Bring Your Own Device tray situated in the dash, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a larger 13.2-inch center SYNC 4 infotainment screen with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air update capability, and standard Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ across the lineup.
The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport also receives a revised exterior color lineup, ditching three colors while adding two new ones. Exterior styling touches include the addition of “Bronco Bolts” lifted from its big brother, the Ford Bronco, along with new front bumpers that offer a more rugged look as well as functional modular points, ready to accept any number of accessories.
Assembly of the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport is handled at the Hermosillo Assembly plant in Mexico, where production began on November 11th, 2024. The crossover began landing at dealers in early 2025. The 2025 Bronco Sport is slightly pricier than its outgoing 2024 model year counterpart, starting at $29,990 for the base Big Bend trim, not including destination freight charges.

I don’t know any automaker other than Ford and GM that have an entire department for decontenting. Not a good sign for the future for either.
I grew up in Louisville and Detroit. My father worked for Ford in both states. Henry Ford II ran the company. It had its issues but was more adventurous. Overall after WWII their styling was radically so. Clean and unfussy. It is the auto company that didn’t go into bankruptcy. The plunge into EVs has been a multi billion dollar debacle. The saying in our house was “Mr. Ford. put a roof over our head and food on our table.” Jim Farley wants to be a rock star not a builder of classic vehicles.
