The redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition is set to upend the full-size SUV segment when it reaches dealers later this year. Today, Ford Authority is zeroing in on the Expedition’s grilles, outlining their availability by trim. In fact, each trim gets a unique face, making them easy to identify from one another.

The base 2025 Ford Expedition Active features the grille with Carbon Black molded-in-color (MIC) surround with ebony painted bars as standard, which does not add any extra cost to the vehicle’s price. The Expedition Tremor steps up its looks with the Unique off-road grille featuring painted Carbonized Gray bars with painted Ebony Black Mesh and signature lighting, plus auxiliary grille lights.
The 2025 Ford Expedition Platinum can be identified by its bold Ebony painted Grille with painted Silver lining mesh and chrome inserts, along with its signature grille lighting. Opting for the Platinum Ultimate Package, priced at $13,570, adds a silver-painted bar along the lower portion of the front fascia, while adding either the Stealth Appearance Package for $3,570 or the Stealth Performance Package priced at $6,545 grants a blacked-out fascia from top to bottom.
Finally, the 2025 Expedition King Ranch gets its own exclusive face, sporting the grille with Sinister Bronze painted bars, the only model in the lineup to offer this option.
The 2025 Expedition is also one of the few models in The Blue Oval’s lineup to retain its factory keyless entry keypad. However, it’s quite a bit pricier than the outgoing model. It also gets two new colors – Space Silver Metallic and Glacier Gray Metallic Tri-Coat – For reference, the base Active model starts at $61,700, not including destination freight charges, which is over $2,000 more expensive than what the same trim cost for the 2024 model year.
Production of the 2025 Expedition, which is handled at the Kentucky Truck plant, began in early January 2025, as reported by Ford Authority.
