2025 Ford Maverick Officially Heading To Argentina

The Ford Maverick has been sold in several global markets since it originally launched for the 2022 model year, so it wasn’t terribly surprising to see that continue with the debut of the refreshed 2025 model. The 2025 Ford Maverick landed at dealers in the U.S. late last year, and since then, we’ve seen it launch in Mexico, and soon, the Maverick Tremor may also be heading to Brazil. Now, The Blue Oval has announced that the refreshed 2025 Ford Maverick will soon be on sale in another South American country – Argentina.

The 2025 Ford Maverick is slated to arrive at dealers in Argentina in Q2 2025, though the automaker hasn’t disclosed any additional information regarding what trims, options, and configurations it will be sold in there. Regardless, it makes perfect sense that the refreshed compact pickup will join the Ford Argentina lineup after its predecessor racked up a host of accolades there, including “Vehicle of the Year” from the PREMIA group, “Commercial Vehicle of the Year” from PIA (Journalists of the Automotive Industry) and “safest pickup of 2022” from CESVI (Center for Experimentation and Road Safety).

The 2025 Ford Maverick features a host of updates compared to its predecessor, including revised exterior styling, though customers can choose from either the 2.5L hybrid powertrain or the turbocharged 2.0L I-4 EcoBoost engine. The hybrid pairs a gas engine running on the Atkinson cycle with a 94 kW electric motor and a 1.1 kWh battery to generate a combined 191 horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque, while the EcoBoost powerplant churns out 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet. When paired with all-wheel drive and the 4K Tow Package, the pickup can tow up to 1,814 kilograms (4,000 pounds), too.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Ford Maverick gets some big upgrades in the form of a 13.2-inch infotainment screen as standard equipment, which replaces the old, outgoing eight-inch screen across the Maverick lineup and is paired with an eight-inch digital instrument cluster.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.

  1. The 2025 hybrid and the 2025 Ecoboost both can tow 4,000 pounds with the 4K tow package, not just the Ecoboost as stated in your article.
