2025 Ford Super Duty SecuriCode Keypad Installation Detailed: Video

The SecuriCode keyless entry keypad is a convenient feature that lets owners of certain Blue Oval vehicles enter a code to unlock or lock their cars, but it’s becoming increasingly rare these days. While it’s still a factory-installed option on some models, like the 2025 Ford Expedition and the 2025 Ford Explorer, it’s now a dealer-installed extra for the likes of the 2025 Ford F-150 and the 2025 Ford Super Duty. A recent video shows the installation process for the SecuriCode keypad on the 2025 Ford Super Duty, which is performed by an authorized shop to ensure proper functionality.

Video still of the 2025 Ford Super Duty having its SecuriCode keypad installed. The feature is now a dealer-installed rather than factory option.

Marc and Tricia, flying under the handle Keep Your Daydream on YouTube, took their 2025 Ford Super Duty to a local diesel shop in Florida to have their SecuriCode keypad installed. After the truck is properly disconnected from its trailer, it’s promptly taken into the shop itself.

Of course, the door panel needs to be taken off to allow access. The keypad is threaded through the door and connected, and then all it needs is an updated B-pillar trim piece. Said panel has the cutout for the SecuriCode keypad itself, which is snapped into place and subsequently programed. Forty minutes and $500 later, the keypad is set up and ready to go. While the process is relatively simple, Marc says that he wouldn’t quite consider it a do-it-yourself process, and recommends taking the 2025 Ford Super Duty to a shop to have it installed.

Marc also points out something interesting about the SecuriCode keypad. Ford would give the factory code on a printout included in the physical owner’s manual, but now that most manuals are included as part of the digital infotainment system, owners must take other steps to get their codes.

Some trucks feature the code printed behind a panel underneath the glove box, but other pickups may not have this. Both key fobs are needed in order to have the new code programmed, which can be done via the infotainment system.

All in all, the Ford SecuriCode keypad is a handy feature for owners of the 2025 Ford Super Duty who don’t want to rely on the key fob for access to the pickup.

  1. That’s the type I thought I was getting when I ordered my 24 Maverick, but found out I was totally wrong when I received the truck as all pics on website were from 2023. The keypad we received was a silly stick on thing that’s not even hardwired. It almost looks like a kids toy that should make funny sounds or fart sounds. When we picked up the truck I have been only out of the hospital for a day or so and my head was still a bit fuzzy, but the salesman just passed me the keypad indicating they couldn’t connect it. Me and my fuzzy head I just put in the glovebox and left. It still sits there after emails to the dealer and Ford to return the keypad with no responses.
