Holding strong after a refresh for the 2023 model year, the 2025 Ford Super Duty offers a wide range of wheel options for any application or style. Today, Ford Authority is delving into the wheels offered on the base Super Duty XL trim in single rear wheel (SRW) guise, including pricing and availability.
The standard rollers for the 2025 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 XL are the 17-inch Argent painted steel wheels with painted hub covers and center ornaments. These are also offered in 18-inch guise, which are standard on the F-350 SRW Regular Cab XL, but can be added to the rest of the F-350 SRW XL lineup.
The second set of wheels is included in the optional STX Appearance Package – a $5,115 extra offered on the F-250 XL and F-350 XL – which are the exclusive 18-inch Ebony Black painted aluminum wheels.
The 2025 Ford Super Duty doesn’t bring about many major changes and updates to its styling inside and out. However, its Sport Package has been replaced by the Black Appearance Package, and it features fewer chrome exterior elements than its predecessor to boot. And speaking of exterior aesthetics, the heavy duty pickup line left two colors in the dust, meaning that Iconic Silver Metallic and Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat have been slashed from the lineup.
Additionally, the trim level lineup underwent a minor change. The Limited trim is no more, having been replaced by the 2025 Ford Super Duty Platinum Plus. Meanwhile, the Lariat trim gets new ActiveX seats inside. The heavy duty pickup line also loses certain SuperCab options. Finally, the heavy duty pickup gets standard V8 gasoline engines.
Production of the 2025 Ford Super Duty is handled at both the Kentucky Truck plant and Ohio Assembly plant. The start of regular production commenced on December 2nd, 2024, and January 21st, 2025, respectively. Pricing starts at $47,295 for the base 2025 Ford F-250 XL, including destination freight charges.
