Ford Chile Sales Jump 13 Percent In January 2025

Ford Chile sales increased 13 percent to 1,430 units in January 2025. The figures place Ford as the sixth country’s best-selling automobile brand during the month, behind Suzuki, Kia, Toyota, Hyundai, and Chevrolet.

Chilean auto sales figures are limited since reporting only shows the best-selling models in each segment. As such, no sales data is available for vehicles that sell in lower volumes. Nevertheless, individual Ford model sales performance (for models for which sales data is available) was as follows:

Ford F-Series sales decreased 45.5 percent to 121 units
Ford Ranger sales increased 60.58 percent to 554 units
Ford Territory sales increased 32.32 percent to 348 units
Ford Transit sales increased 64.06 percent to 105 units

Ford Chile sales healthy increase in January represents the brand’s fifth consecutive monthly rise in the South American country, where it continues to increase its market share. In fact, the 1,430 deliveries in the first month of the calendar year is one of Ford’s best months ever for the Chilean market.

In January, Ford Chile’s main models managed to register large double-digit increases and substantial volume improvements. Among them, the best-selling Ford Ranger stands out with a new record above 550 units, reinforcing the leadership position of the medium pickup as the brand’s most popular model in the country and throughout South America.

The Ford Territory and Ford Transit also achieved healthy sales levels in January, with the compact crossover starting the calendar year as one of the most popular models in its segment in Chile. Meanwhile, the Transit had the highest growth rate among the brand’s listed models.
