Ford Credit Offers Payment Relief To Kentucky And West Virginia

Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services have a long history of being among the first to spring into action and help those in need following any kind of natural disaster imaginable, whether that be a hurricane, tornado, fire, flood, or anything else that can cause serious hardships for customers. We’ve seen this time and time again in the wake of those types of devastating experiences, and now, we’re seeing it again after severe flooding impacted parts of Kentucky and West Virginia recently.

When a large storm passed through Kentucky and West Virginia a few weeks ago, heavy rainfall fell in those areas over a short period of time, leading to some of the worst flooding either has seen in recent memory. That excessive amount of water left many scrambling to get to safety, but now that it has largely dried up, a lot of folks have found themselves facing quite a bit of hardship. To help them get through that, Ford Credit and Lincoln Automotive Financial Services are offering payment extensions of up to 60 days for impacted customers that live in counties eligible for FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program.

While it’s worth noting that interest may continue to accrue on these deferred payments, this still gives owners a bit of financial leeway in a time when many likely need it. Customers can find out if they’re eligible for an extension by visiting www.ford.com/finance, via the Ford Credit app, or they can call 1-800-723-4016. Additionally, those that want to lease or purchase a new vehicle may also qualify for payment deferrals for up to 120 days with financing from Ford Credit or Lincoln Automotive Financial Services, and can check with their local dealers before the conclusion of March to see if they qualify for that offer.

This is just the latest effort by Ford Credit to help customers affected by a number of recent natural disasters, including devastating fires in California, as well as a trio of hurricanes – Francine, Milton, and Helene, to name just a few.
