The newest-generation Ford Everest has thus far proven to be quite popular in markets where it’s sold, ranking near or atop the SUV sales charts in many of those countries. Meanwhile, The Blue Oval continues to expand the Ford Everest lineup and add it to other global markets, too. Now, a brand new, unique variant of the Ford Everest has launched in Thailand, too – the Sport Special Edition.
The new Ford Everest Sport Special Edition is unique in a number of ways, starting with its blacked-out exterior theme that consists of a black roof, hood lettering, rear spoiler, and unique 20-inch alloy wheels in Asphalt Black with one red spokes and five gloss-black spokes, wrapped in 255/55R20 tires. Customers can choose from two paint colors – Snowflake White Pearl and Aluminum Metallic.
Inside the cabin, one will find an array of black trim as well, coupled with amenities including eight-way power adjustable front seats, a wireless charging pad, a 12-inch infotainment screen, and various standard safety features. Power comes from the turbocharged 2.0L diesel engine, mated to the six-speed automatic gearbox, with pricing coming in at 1,619,000 baht ($47,658 USD).
“Ford is always striving to offer products that resonate with our customers’ needs, by introducing exciting new vehicles and special editions,” said Matas Likitsajjakun, Marketing Director of Ford Thailand. “The Ford Everest’s strong market share, reaching 21.6 percent in 2024, reflects our successful approach. With the launch of the new Everest Sport Special Edition, we’re excited to build on this momentum this year. It combines a bold, sporty look, excellent performance, and the latest technology, all at a competitive price. It’s the ideal PPV for today’s drivers who seeking a stylish, agile, and versatile vehicle for everything from daily commutes to weekend adventures.”
The Ford Everest is set to join the automaker’s Argentinian lineup this month, while its existing list of offerings in Australia continues to grow, too. There – after a one-year hiatus – the off-road-focused Wildtrak is returning for 2025, and it’ll be joined by the brand new Tremor, too.
