Since its launch, the current-generation Ford Everest has proven to be a smash hit in places like Australia, where it’s second only to the Ford Ranger in terms of sales in The Blue Oval’s lineup. Now that the automaker has managed to ramp up production to meet demand, it’s also introducing new variants of the SUV as well – including the Wildtrak, which was absent from the lineup for one year only to return for 2025, as well as the new Ford Everest Tremor, which just debuted last August. Now, it seems as if that particular model is facing heavy demand, too – taking the automaker by surprise as a result.
According to CarExpert, The Blue Oval has already sold 370 units of the Ford Everest Tremor in Australia thus far, which is far higher than expected – and it might wind up accounting for a solid chunk of overall Everest sales this year as a result. “It’s been a surprise to us in terms of the take up and excitement over this product,” said Everest product and retail marketing manager, George Thomas. “[The sales mix] is quite variable, but you know we could be anywhere [around] 10 percent of our mix, but you know, we’re looking at opportunities.”
“The amount of traffic that [the Everest Tremor] drove for us across all of our channels was far in excess of what we had predicted,” added Ford Australia marketing director Ambrose Henderson. “And that, I think, really shows that we took the customer inside and really drove for what customers wanted [with this product] and customers therefore are interested. As customer demand increases, we’ll obviously take that into account for production, and we’ll make sure that we mix our products and range to deliver on that.”
The Ford Everest Tremor is equipped with an array of off-road-focused goodies such as a signature front grille with factory-fitted auxiliary LED lighting, tow hooks, and a steel bash plate, unique 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain tires, Asphalt Black wheel arch moldings, coupled with a variety of distinct touches inside the cabin, too. It also gets the same upgrades as the rest of the 2025 Everest lineup, including a 400W power inverter with a socket inside of the cabin.

I’ll never understand why they don’t bring the Everest to the US. I’d trade my Bronco for one in a heartbeat.
The Ford Everest Tremor, it’s nice to hear this unit took off beyond what Ford Motor had expected. Makes me proud to work for such a great company. Ford does have a better idea, have you driven a Ford lately, yeah, down under, mate.
We need these here in the US market!! Ford would sell a ton of these!!
Let’s get the Ranger PHEV in production first, followed by a Puma E and Hybrid. Then the Everest would make a very nice addition to F’s offering.
My very first Ford Escape SE gave me 260, 720 miles (2003 – 2014)… my 2014 Escape SE is approaching 180,000 miles… I am ready for a Ford Everest when available I the USA… soon I hope!
For God sake bring the V6 diesel tremor package out in the Ranger, I’ll buy 10 of them
