When towing a trailer, it’s critical to maintain situational awareness so you don’t put yourself – or other motorists – in danger. The driver of one Ford F-650 Super Duty clearly overestimated how much space they had to cross traffic, making a left hand turn in front of the cammer, who narrowly missed hitting them in a recent viral video.
Posted to the Reddit community r/MildlyBadDrivers, the video shows the cammer heading down a four-lane road with a turn lane in the center. The white Ford F-650 Super Duty is first seen in that turn lane trying to make a left turn into a parking lot. It probably would have been smarter for them to wait, but they start to turn as the cammer bears down on them at a little over 40 mph.
Thinking quickly, the cammer brakes, scrubbing off speed and slowing to about 20 mph as they bear down on the turning Super Duty, which has a rather large trailer attached that impedes the flow of traffic as its driver makes the world’s slowest turn through the parking lot. Thankfully, the cam car misses the trailer – which is loaded down with heavy machinery – and is able to continue down the road, physically unaffected but likely shaken from the near miss.
Just because you have the kind of truck capable of hauling a trailer doesn’t mean you necessarily have the skills to drive it. Another Ford Super Duty cut a corner at a drive thru a little too close, getting their camper trailer caught as they tried in vain to haul it out with sheer power. A different (we hope) Super Duty drove away with a tractor and its driver on the bed before they’d safely cleared off the trailer, while the driver of a Ford F-150 failed to properly control their trailer and ended up destroying a classic Honda Accord in the process.

So basically, “guy turns left in front of a car, making them slow down”, just like everyone has seen loads of times.
Pretty exciting stuff.
Came for the wreck, left disappointed.
