  1. The discontinued Edge makes up almost the entire shortfall on the Ford Brand total and Farley wants to kill the Escape (13K in sales) too. When are all of these future models we keep hearing about actually going to arrive in Ford showrooms. It sounds like just a bunch of pie in the sky. They can’t keep cutting their way to success.

    1. You are 100% correct, they would be off about 1% if they had the Edge. The doom and gloom people who post here don’t really look at the data like you do. F- Series sales are still strong, the bread and butter for Ford.

      1. Ford is the only company that is putting all their eggs in one basket, relying on the F-Series only and nothing else.

    1. When will that actually be…it’s all capote for now!!!

  3. You can’t cut your way to growth. Ford requires a better business strategy than retreat. They need to prioritize getting to Toyota-level long-term reliability (which is 99% in the engineering) while simultaneously producing more reasonably priced vehicles again.
Put simply, it’s not looking good when a buyer can just get a new Corolla for less than Ford’s cheapest vehicle, and it will not only outlast it, but long-outlast every last one of the Detroit 3’s offerings, regardless of price.

    1. I disagree. I have heard plenty of complaints with newer Corollas with regards to QC…sure they are decent commuter cars but are THEY GOING TO OUTLAST a truck when put to the same job?

  4. Keep raising the prices!

  5. But, hey! Look at that billion-dollar Train Station restoration.
    Right?

  7. Ford Motor Company sales are off to a bad start in 2025, however, it the slow selling Lincoln brand that’s really hurting, thanks to the Unqualified Dianne Craig. Lincoln sales are down 14.6% and the $101,990+ Lincoln Navigator sales are down 13.77% from 2024. Thanks to the Unqualified Dianne Craig, Lincoln is still on course to become China only in 2030. For every 1 Lincoln vehicle sold in America, Mercedes-Benz sells 3 vehicles. In 1994, the good old days, Lincoln sold 120,000 Town Cars, now Lincoln total sales struggle to reach 100,000.
