Ford Performance Driver Bailey Campbell Joins RTR Vehicles Off-Road

Ford Performance driver Bailey Campbell is joining the newly formed RTR Vehicles Off-Road team, following in her father Shannon’s tire tracks as she prepares to take on the Mint 400 behind the wheel of the King of the Hammers-winning 4600-class Ford Bronco racer.

Campbell has a quite a bit of experience under her belt in the off-road racing world. She cut her teeth in rock-crawling competitions, learning the ins and outs of navigating tough terrain. She graduated to the Ultra4 4400 class by her late teens and continues to race against the best in the business. Her experience fabricating and working on her own racing vehicles gives her an important advantage in the world of off-road racing.

Campbell was the first woman to lead KOH in the 4400 class and completed her first 560+ mile race solo, proving her mental fortitude and skill behind the wheel. She also competed in the Rebelle Rally, backed by Ford Performance, wheeling her 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor to a fifth-place finish at the line.

“I’m looking forward to this new adventure as an RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team driver,” Bailey said in a team release. “It has been in the works for a bit now, and it couldn’t have felt more real until I was getting fitted in the driver’s seat of the 4600 Bronco a few weeks ago!”

Vaughn Gittin Jr., president and founder of RTR vehicles, said, “Since I started racing Ultra4, Bailey has always been a standout to me on and off the track. Her passion and dedication to her craft and fans is admirable, and her skills – whether behind the wheel or wrenching on her rig – are inspiring.”

He added, “She is the full package when it comes to what’s needed to be successful in this space, and I am very much looking forward to the growth and fun that is ahead with her joining the RTR team.”

RTR Vehicles’ relationship with Ford Performance extends beyond the off-road courses. The two entities teamed up to introduce the Ford Mustang RTR, a forthcoming EcoBoost-powered performance model designed in part by Gittin himself.
