Nine 2023 Ford Super Duty Pickups Recalled Over Incorrect Repair

Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2023 Ford Super Duty F-250 and F-350 pickups due to an issue with the operation of the front window. These models were previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 23V-507.

The defect: in affected vehicles, if the driver and front passenger door module experiences a low power condition and resets while the window is moving, the anti-pinch function may not detect an obstacle near the top edge and may not automatically reverse direction.

The hazards: a window that does not automatically reverse when an obstruction is encountered increases the risk of injury.

Ford is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this issue.
