Austin Richard Post – known to most as Post Malone – has skyrocketed to fame in recent years as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer, first hitting the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2015 and since watching countless songs follow suit, across multiple genres. As such, Post Malone obviously has some extra money laying around to spend, and he’s allocated his fair share of funds to Ford vehicles and other things over the years, too. That includes a Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 and a Ford F-150 Raptor tattoo, and now, he’s adding a pair of cool restomod Ford pickups to his collection, too.
These classic restomod Ford pickups were built by Velocity Restorations, which has made a name for itself by constructing some of the finest such vehicles on earth in recent years. The first is a Velocity Heritage Series version of the 1971 Ford F-250, which is finished in Boxwood Green BASF Glasurit paint as part of its two-tone scheme, and is equipped with custom-machined billet trim, color-matched bumpers, and 33-inch tires on the outside. Inside, it features custom door panels and speaker pods, plus a billet gun rack, to boot.
The lifted F-250 rides on a custom frame built by Roadster Shop for Velocity, featuring coilover shocks and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, with power coming from the 5.0L V8 Coyote engine. It’s accompanied by a lowered 1971 Ford F-100 finished in Eruption Green and white, along with Forgeline wheels and Michelin Sport tires. It also features custom door panels and speaker pods inside the cabin, along with black leather upholstery and dark green stitching, plus Dakota Digital gauges and a touchscreen infotainment system.
While these two builds are quite different, the F-100 is also powered by the same third-generation 5.0L V8 Coyote engine, but it’s underpinned by a Roadster Shop Spec Chassis for a sportier driving experience, along with Baer four-wheel disc brakes.
