Nobody likes being cut off in traffic, much less when the offending vehicle is treating a two-lane road like there’s a secret third lane to the outside. Often, drivers who blatantly disobey traffic laws don’t bother to check their surroundings before making such a stupid move, which sometimes results in a cop catching them almost instantly. That’s exactly what happened to the driver of a Ford F-150 in Dearborn, Michigan, when its driver attempted to skip traffic without realizing there was a cop right there.
The video was captured at the intersection of Outer Drive and Monroe – which is a two-lane road – and shows the gray F-150 shooting around traffic to the right of the police officer. The F-150 dips through a turn lane and onto the shoulder before forcibly rejoining traffic several cars ahead, cutting off two innocent motorists in the process.
The cop wastes no time in pulling the Ford F-150 over. It’s not clear what the driver says, and the viewer can only clearly make out the cop’s words, but he attempts to explain to the driver that what he did wasn’t legal. “You improperly passed a vehicle there,” says the cop. “Outer Drive near Monroe is only two lanes. Two cars were driving. You went around the car to the right and passed him… That’s not a lane.”
The cop dishes out a ticket to the rude Ford F-150 driver. Hopefully, they won’t be in a hurry to pull that stunt again, but it’s always nice to see some instant karma out on the road.

A similar scenario occurred when the driver of a Ford Fusion tried to take off after being involved in a hit and run a few years ago, but they didn’t get too far before a policeman pulled up to dish out justice. More recently, another F-150 treated the shoulder like their personal passing lane and got pulled over for disobeying traffic laws.
