Steeda S650 Ford Mustang Bump Steer Kit Officially Revealed

Steeda, renowned for its extensive aftermarket upgrades for Ford vehicles, has introduced a new kit designed to enhance the handling of lowered variants of the S650 Ford Mustang. The bump steer kit helps eliminate changes in vehicle toe caused by suspension movement when navigating over bumps, keeping the pony car reined in.

The bump steer kit was designed to realign the seventh-generation Ford Mustang tie rods to the same angle as the lower control arms to correct the suspension geometry. It offers a wide range of adjustment, and Steeda highly recommends the kit for any Mustang that has been lowered. Highlights of the kit include its aircraft grade billet aluminum body and military grade finish, making it a tough addition to the pony car.

:Steeda’s S650 Mustang Bump steer Kit for your Mustang will allow owners to correct bump steer geometry and can do so without requiring you to drill or modify your vehicle spindle,” states the product description on Steeda’s website. “In addition, our Steeda Mustang Bump steer Kit makes a great service replacement for your worn out, high mileage outer tie rods even if you do not have excessive bump steer issues.”

While the bump steer kit doesn’t require any spindle modification for fitment or adjustment, Steeda recommends that it be installed by an experienced technician, which will take about two hours. Priced at $249.95, the kit fits any Ford Mustang from the 2024 through 2026 model years, and can be added to any trim, including EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse

Steeda also offers a number of upgrades for the S650 Ford Mustang, including a set of brake rotors engineered specifically for V8-powered models. Owners of either the GT or Dark horse can also take advantage of the company’s cold air intakes, along with a sporty spoiler and spherical bearings for the lower control arms. There’s also a line of air filters on offer, which are washable and reusable, proven to coax a bit more power out of the pony car in the long run.
