There are plenty of eighth- and ninth-generation Ford F-150 models that have been used and abused, but sometimes, a well cared-for and relatively low-mileage example will surface – like a 1995 F-150 that was barely broken in with 4,000 miles on it, and a 1996 model year pickup with 45,000 miles of drive time overall. There’s another 1995 Ford F-150 XL with 22,000 miles under its belt, currently searching for a new home.
This 1995 Ford F-150 XL short bed is offered on Bring a Trailer. It was registered to one owner in Florida until February 2025, when it was acquired by the seller. It’s painted in a unique metallic green known as Tobago Green Clearcoat Metallic, paired with a black grille, black bumpers, and matching mirror caps. The 15-inch steel wheels have been refinished in black to complete the duotone look all around. Those wheels are mounted with 235/75 Yokohama Geolandar tires, while discs provide stopping power up front and drums out back.
Inside, the pickup features a bench seat finished in Opal Gray cloth over vinyl flooring. Creature comforts include air conditioning and an AM/FM stereo and spartan manual windows. That AC blows “cold as ice,” according to the seller. There is evidence of rust around the windows, and certain parts of the interior are a bit dirty, but in all, the pickup is in excellent shape considering its age.
Under the hood, this 1995 Ford F-150 harnesses the 5.0L V8 engine, which was factory rated at 195 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Power is delivered to the rear two wheels (RWD) via its column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission and a 3.08:1 geared differential.
The seller notes that weather stripping was replaced in 2025. The pickup hasn’t had any major services throughout its life, and has received periodic maintenance. Its window sticker indicates that its price was $16,758 when new, or roughly $35,165 when adjusted for inflation.
