The Ford Crown Victoria earned its fame patrolling the streets in black and white, but plenty of civilian versions cruised the roads, too. Sometimes, Panther platform sedans shows up for sale online, and some with relatively low mileage, too – like this 2003 Crown Vic, a 2004 model with just 10,000 miles, and a 1998 with 34,000 miles racked up. A 1999 Ford Crown Victoria is now searching for its new owner, showing just 27,000 miles on the odometer.
Offered up on Bring a Trailer, this 1999 Ford Crown Victoria LX spent most of its life under a single family’s ownership in Ohio before being acquired by the selling party in 2022. It’s undergone some minor maintenance; all four tires have been replaced, its transmission fluid was flushed, and it sports new air filters, brake pads, rotors, and a fuel filter. Outside, the Crown Vic is finished in Vibrant White Clearcoat, and it sports power adjustable mirrors, tinted windows, a keyless entry keypad, and single exhaust outlet.
The 1999 Ford Crown Victoria rolls on a set of 17-inch Sport Appearance Package wheels wrapped in 235/55 Goodyear Assurance ComfortDrive tires. The seller notes that the rear suspension squeaks occasionally, but no work has been done on this part of the vehicle.
Inside, the 1999 Ford Crown Victoria features power-adjustable front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Medium Parchment leather. Woodgrain trim is interspersed throughout, while a cassette stereo, cruise control, a digital clock, and automatic climate control are implemented inside. The sale also includes a Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2, which is powered through a USB charger that plugs into the 12-volt outlet.
The Crown Vic’s 4.6L V8 engine was factory rated at 200 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the rear two wheels by way of the four-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle’s window sticker shows that it sold for $24,120 when new, or roughly $46,300 when adjusted for inflation. Of its 27,000 miles, approximately 2,400 were added under current ownership.
