Over the years, we’ve seen our fair share of six-door pickup conversions, which are precisely what they sound like – elongated versions of existing trucks like the Ford Super Duty, which feature six doors instead of four, as well as what is typically an additional row of seating inside. While there are some practical purposes for such a build, we imagine that parking a six-door pickup isn’t exactly easy in some cases, though it’ll certainly snag its fair share of attention around town. For anyone seeking those types of things, this 2015 Ford F-350 Super Duty six-door conversion will soon be sold to the highest bidder, too.
This Ford F-350 six-door conversion is set to cross the block at Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach, Florida auction later this month, and it’s actually quite well executed, too – in fact, this incredibly long hauler looks like it could have come straight from The Blue Oval itself. It was built by the folks at Custom Autos by Tim, which stretched the frame and added another set of doors, making room for another row of seating inside the cabin.
On the outside, this six-door F-350 also features 20-inch BMF wheels, 35×12.5-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires, Addictive Desert Designs front and rear bumpers, a Rigid Industries grille with an integrated light bar, a DiamondBack bed cover, and AMP Research power retractable side steps. It even has rear HVAC to keep passengers in the very back warm or cool as needed, and power comes from the turbocharged 6.7L V8 Power Stroke diesel engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Every now and then, we come across six-door Ford pickups, but it’s been a while since we saw the last of that bunch – a 1997 Ford F-350 that was also lifted a whopping nine inches. Prior to that, we also spotted an elongated 2016 Ford F-250 “Excursion” conversion, too.
