2016 Ford Focus RS With 6K Miles Up For Auction

Production of the Ford Focus is slated to end this coming November, marking the end of an era – and the discontinuation of a beloved model in The Blue Oval’s lineup. The Focus has been absent from Ford’s U.S. lineup for some time, however, though we continue to see nice examples of that model surface for sale at collector car auctions. These are usually performance-focused ST or RS variants, oftentimes with few miles on the clock, and now, this 2016 Ford Focus RS becomes the latest to entice enthusiasts in the market for such a hot hatch.

This 2016 Ford Focus RS is up for auction at Cars & Bids with just 5,800 miles on the clock, and unlike a lot of its peers, is completely unmodified. It’s a Canadian market example finished in Shadow Black, but currently resides in Michigan after it was imported to the U.S. back in October 2024. Other than some typical stone chips and tires with 2016 date codes, there are no flaws to note on the outside, which comes as little surprise given this hatchback’s super-low mileage total.

The same is true of the interior, which is in fantastic condition with no flaws noted in the auction listing. There are quite a few nice amenities present as well, such as leather/Alcantara-covered Recaro heated front bucket seats, automatic climate control, and the SYNC 3 infotainment system. Power comes from the turbocharged 2.3L I-4 EcoBoost engine, which was factory rated to produce 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. flowing to all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and Dynamic Torque Vectoring.

This low-mile Ford Focus RS is just the latest of several nice examples we’ve spotted at auction as of late, which is great news for fans of Blue Oval hot hatches, in general. That list also includes a pair of 2017 model year Focus RS hatches – one with 24k miles, and another with 44k miles.

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
