While the Shelby name is closely associated with the Ford Mustang – the gasoline-burning version – the moniker also exists on a handful of units of the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E. Featuring numerous exclusive touches, one example of the 2023 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H is currently up for sale, giving buyers the chance to own an all-electric Shelby.
Offered up on Cars & Bids, this Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H is one of just 100 units built in collaboration between Hertz, Shelby American, and Ford Motor Company – No. 49 among them, to be specific. Its exterior features a “rent-a-racer” black-and-gold paint scheme, complete with side stripes, hood stripes, and Shelby branding on the sides. Up front, it sports an aggressive splitter that would look right at home on the racetrack. Its hood is made of carbon fiber. Riding on 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels, the electric crossover also features special GT-H branded center caps. This collaboration was went as an homage to the GT-H pony cars that have been offered since the 1960s.
Inside, the Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H is fitted with GT-H branded seat embroidery. Infotainment duties are handled by the 15.5-inch center stack screen running Ford’s Sync 4. BlueCruise is onboard, as is a Bang & Olufsen sound system along with a fixed panoramic glass roof.
As for the guts, the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E Shelby GT-H is powered by dual electric motors pulling electricity from its 91 kWh lithium ion battery pack. Power is delivered to all four wheels, and the electric crossover is rated at 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. This particular example is equipped with the extended-range battery pack, which provides 260 miles of range on a full charge.
This Mustang Mach-E also features a Borla GT500 exhaust system – a simulated one, that is. External speakers pipe the sound of a V8 engine. It’s showing just 8,000 miles on the odometer, and at the time of this writing, the high bid is $22,222.
Interestingly, a closely related Ford Mustang Shelby Mach-E concept does exist, but that particular project will stay on ice until there’s a surefire way to upgrade its performance over the “regular” version of the electric crossover.
Workers are reportedly dealing with a variety of hazards.
It's part of a bigger giveaway involving an entire home.
It's rather cheap by comparison, but also a bit rough.
Its per-unit cost impact is lower than almost all of its rivals.
And a whopping seven percent, year-over-year.

Looks absurd in Shelby guise. Have to wonder if his heirs allowed this to happen or if some aftermarketer dreamed it up.
Looks better than any Swazticar for sure!
