2025 Ford Bronco Sport Axes Rubberized Cargo Floor On Three Trims

The refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport brought numerous changes to the tough off-road crossover. While it gains a list of features and a whole bushel of new tech and aesthetics, it does leave some accessories behind, such as the rubberized seatbacks on several trims. Strike the rubberized cargo floor from several trims as well, as the feature has been replaced with standard a carpeted cargo floor on certain models.

Specifically, the carpeted cargo floor replaces the rubberized cargo floor as standard equipment on three trims. That means the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend, Free Wheeling, and Outer Banks trims no longer get rubberized cargo flooring right from the factory and instead feature carpeted cargo flooring behind the second-row seats.

However, the feature isn’t gone completely, at least not from the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend and Outer Banks. Rubberized cargo flooring is included as part of the Class II Trailer Tow Package, which itself is bundled into the Black Diamond Off-Road Package, a $2,570 add-on for the rugged crossover. It’s also included in the Sasquatch Outer Banks Package, which costs $3,535.

Meanwhile, other packages include the Cargo Mat, which is effectively the same feature as the rubberized cargo floor. This feature is included in the Black Diamond Off-Road Package as well as the Black Appearance Package, which is available for $1,750 on the base Big Bend trim.

Other standout features on the refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport include the new Off-Road GOAT mode along with Trail One-Pedal Drive, the 360-Degree Camera with Trail View, the Bring Your Own Device tray situated in the dash, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, a larger 13.2-inch center SYNC 4 screen, and the addition of Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ on every model.

Pricing for the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport starts at $31,590 for the base Big Bend trim, including destination freight charges. In addition to the aforementioned changes and updates, the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport ditches three exterior colors while gaining two new ones. Its assembly is handled at the Hermosillo Assembly plant in Mexico, where production kicked off on November 11th, 2024, as previously reported by Ford Authority.
