The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning gains one new color known as Space White Metallic. Here’s a first look at the new no-cost hue for the all-electric pickup.
Tagged with paint code A3, Space White Metallic is offered on all 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning models, including XLT, Flash, Lariat, and Platinum. It’s also one of seven colors available on the fleet-only Pro trim. It’s a no-cost option regardless of trim level, and can be added in conjunction with all available interior colorways. Note that this color wasn’t available upon launch and was added to the lineup as of Job 2 production.

The 2025 F-150 Lightning boasts a handful of updates, including the new Dark Elements appearance package, an optional extra available on the Platinum trim. Said package bundles 22-inch black-painted wheels, black Ford ovals and badging, and a black interior. The pickup also features BlueCruise 1.4, designed to provide a smoother, more natural hands-free highway driving experience. Additionally, maximum DC fast charging has improved from 450 amps to 500 amps.
Production of the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center is now in full swing despite a significant delay. Operations initially kicked off in November 2024, but the automaker ultimately opted to idle it for seven weeks, starting at the end of the day on November 15th, 2024 and resuming on January 6th, 2025 in response to cooling demand for the electric pickup.
In response to that cooling demand, The Blue Oval elected to hold off on increasing pricing for the 2025 F-150 Lightning compared to its 2024 model year counterpart. The entry level XLT trim maintains its starting price of $62,995, not including destination freight charges.
