The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning stays largely the same as its 2024 predecessor, but it brings one major change to the table: the addition of the all-new Dark Elements Package. As its name implies, this new bundle includes quite a few blacked-out elements to give the all-electric pickup a more sinister expression. Today, we’re taking a closer look at what this package has to offer, thanks to the following photo gallery.
The Dark Elements Package (option code 18B) is exclusively available on the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum. Included in this package are a set of 22-inch Black Painted aluminum wheels, black Ford Ovals, black Series badging, and black tailgate badging. The exterior is also treated to dark retroreflective vinyl bedside badging. Finally, inside, the package offers Black Premium Nirvana Leather Seats.
The Dark Elements Package is priced at $1,000. While it does bring the aforementioned goodies to the table, it does have an important exclusion – it can’t be paired with the Power Deployable Running Boards with Black Accents, which are offered as a standalone option.
The 2025 F-150 Lightning boasts a handful of updates, including the new Dark Elements appearance package, an optional extra available on the Platinum trim. Said package bundles 22-inch black-painted wheels, black Ford ovals and badging, and a black interior. The pickup also features BlueCruise 1.4, designed to provide a smoother, more natural hands-free highway driving experience. Additionally, maximum DC fast charging has improved from 450 amps to 500 amps.
Production of the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center is now in full swing despite a significant delay. Operations initially kicked off in November 2024, but the automaker ultimately opted to idle it for seven weeks, starting at the end of the day on November 15th, 2024 and resuming on January 6th, 2025 in response to cooling demand for the electric pickup. For reference, the Platinum trim maintains its starting price of $84,995, not including destination freight charges.

Nice truck to go 120 miles in. lol
Weird math, mine will do 300 miles per charge easily. Possibly your thinking this is a Tesslur product, they are all Computur and parts fall off a lot.
Ford is missing the mark, the blackout package should also come with smoked headlights and a smoked black led trim light up front.
