2025 Ford F-150 Recalled Over Missing Air Bag Warning Label

Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2025 Ford F-150 models over a missing air bag warning label.

The defect: in affected vehicles, the air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, “Occupant Crash Protection.”

The hazards: a missing air bag warning label will not warn occupants about the risks of air bag deployment, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition.

Components: dashboard air bag warning label

Affected vehicles: select 2025 Ford F-150 models produced between April 4th, 2025, and April 8th, 2025.

Number of vehicles affected: 326

The fix: Ford will mail owners the warning labels, free of charge.

Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin July 5th, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25C12.
