Roush Performance is known for crafting aggressive builds based on Ford’s lineup, turning everyday haulers monsters. Recent additions include the Roush Super Duty, featuring the outfit’s signature styling and performance upgrades, along with the 2025 Roush F-150, built as an alternative to the Tremor trim for those in the market for an off-road beast. Now, the 2025 Roush F-150 Nitemare has debuted as a high-performance street pickup.
This isn’t the first time that Roush has put out an F-150 Nitemare edition, although it’s been notably absent from the lineup since 2020. “Built to dominate and own the night,” as Roush itself puts it on its website, the 2025 Roush F-150 Nitemare was engineered with peak street performance in mind, offering an upgrade over the stock F-150 XL and XLT trims in the form of a lowered stance and tuned suspension to support tighter cornering and a more planted ride.
That upgraded suspension includes coilovers, drop spindles, twin-tube dampers, progressive-rate springs, and an upgraded sway bar. Combined, that means a three-inch drop up front and five-inch drop out back. A set of 22-inch Roush gloss black wheels and 305/40R22 General Tire G-MAX AS07 all-season tires carry the pickup, situated in front of slotted brake rotors. In fact, the whole suspension package delivered a +1.0G rating when tested on a road course.
Beyond the performance upgrades, the 2025 Roush F-150 Nitemare features a blacked-out front grille with amber lights, along with functional hood extractors, a blackout tailgate badge, custom hitch cover, and serialized hood and tailgate badges. Premium leather seats cradle passengers, finished in Raven Black with Roush Red accents. The interior also features aluminum sport pedals, while the Ford F-150 XLT trimmed models can benefit from the optional carbon fiber interior trim package.
A Roush graphics package completes the ensemble, featuring Jack Roush’s signature, U.S. flags, and other door decals. Buyers can also add things like the Roush center console vault and the Roush Performance Audio by Alpine systems, which is exclusive to the F-150 XLT trim.
The 2025 Roush F-150 Nitemare starts at $19,999 above the base vehicle price. For reference, the 2025 Ford F-150 XL starts at $38,710 and the XLT trim at $45,595, not including destination freight charges.

Most dealerships will run this price way past MSRP.
Yet no where in the article does it address the actual street performance that matters, from under the hood. Just talks about lowering and a little better suspension. I would expect Roush to at least add performance under the hood. And according to the Ford Website, you can’t get XLT trim on a single cab
I love the single cab. It is long overdue…..thank you Ford
