Ford EVs To Be TCS London Marathon Fixture For Next Three Years

Ford EVs haven’t quite taken off across the globe as the automaker previously hoped – leading it to call for robust government incentives – but that same electrified lineup is gaining traction in Europe, specifically. The Blue Oval has filed out its EV lineup in that region in a big way as of late following a number of notable launches, which now include the entire Transit family, the soon-to-be-cheaper Explorer and Capri EVs, and other existing models. Now, Ford EVs will play a very important role in the TCS London Marathon, too.

FoMoCo has been named as the official electric vehicle supplier for the TCS London Marathon, in fact, which means that a number of Ford EVs will be used across the event’s route, starting with the lead timing vehicle all the way back to support vehicles at the tail end of the race. The fleet will include a host of Ford EVs including the Explorer, Capri, E-Tourneo Custom, Mustang Mach-E, and Transit.
