Ford Power Promise Extended To UK Fleet Buyers

The Ford Power Promise program debuted in the U.S. last September, offering retail customers that purchase or lease a Ford Mustang Mach-E, Ford F-150 Lightning, or E-Transit a free home charger when they take delivery of those vehicles, plus free standard installation. It proved to be so popular that the Ford Power Promise program was then extended not just once, but twice, and it just launched in the UK earlier this month for retail consumers. Now, Ford Power Promise has been extended to commercial fleet buyers in that same country, too.

Starting today, UK fleet customers who purchase a Ford E-Transit, E-Transit Custom, or E-Transit Courier can take advantage of the Ford Pro Power Promise program, which gives them a few options. Those customers can get a £10 home charge point with standard installation and a five-year hardware warranty, or an £825 discount on a workplace charging solution, along with one-year of complimentary access to Ford Pro vehicle management software.

Additionally, UK fleet EV buyers get a variety of other benefits with their purchase – an eight-year, 100,000-mile high voltage component and battery warranty, a five-year service plan, five years of towing assistance, and access to more than 33,000 public charging points via the Ford BlueOval Charge Network. This is just the latest expansion for Ford Power Promise following its launch in the U.S., UK, and Canada.

“Switching to an electric van does not need to feel like a step into the unknown.” said Mandy Dean, Commercial Vehicle director, Ford of Britain and Ireland. “Ford is committed to helping businesses big and small understand the benefits that our new generation of connected electric vans can deliver. Now, our Ford Pro Power Promise goes even further, with no-nonsense solutions that will boost confidence for businesses on the fence, and make the transition to electric seamless and stress-free, so they can concentrate on getting the job done.”

Brett's lost track of all the Fords he's owned over the years and how much he's spent modifying them, but his current money pits include an S550 Mustang and 13th gen F-150.
