Ford Super Duty Driver Gets Little Payoff For Impatience: Video

Traffic can be insanely frustrating, but the truth of the matter is often, motorists can only go as fast as the vehicle in front of them. The driver of one Ford Super Duty let their anger get the better of them while driving on a multilane road – even though it had hardly any benefit in the grand scheme of things.

Video still of the Ford Super Duty showing aggression due to the actions of another motorist. They didn't really gain much from the road rage display.

The Ford Super Duty’s questionable actions were caught on dashcam and appropriately posted on the r/IdiotsInCars community on Reddit. The pickup comes into view to the left of the cammer, riding a bit close to the vehicle in front of it through an intersection. Trapped behind that vehicle, there’s nowhere for the Super Duty to go, and they’re obviously frustrated about it.

The Ford Super Duty swerves into the cammer’s lane as soon as there’s a gap – and, shockingly, they use their blinker, at least. As soon as they’re clear, the Super Duty guns it (and so does the vehicle they were trying to pass). The Super Duty driver, thinking they were clear, signal their intent to get back into the lane they were driving in before, but finding it occupied, they abort mission and dive back into the lane.

The battle continues for a while down the road as the Ford Super Duty tries to leapfrog traffic to no avail. Finally, the Super Duty driver gets their shot – a gap opens up in front of the offending sedan as they slow heading toward a turn lane at a stoplight. The pickup guns it and very pointedly makes their displeasure known by aggressively cutting in front of the sedan – and promptly gets suck at the red light, exactly one car ahead of the sedan that upset them in the first place.

With a capable vehicle underneath drivers of a certain type, it’s sometimes hard not to just open it up and let the intrusive thoughts win. That’s what the driver of a Ford F-150 did when they cut the line at a stoplight by crossing a double yellow, and a Ford Maverick driver thought they were too important to stop at a school crossing, almost plowing into a few innocent pedestrians. At least the driver of a Ford Mustang had enough forethought to pull over when they noticed a cop who witnessed their questionable decision to speed.

  2. Drove behind this person. Was a kind driver letting people merge etc during rush hour until the vehicle in video decided to flip them off and mess with numerous cars. Then you see what happened next. So quick to judge the big trucks(I get it) but this wasn’t the case.
