The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning underwent some minor changes, including an updated exterior color lineup. One color was deleted, while another was added, bringing the total to eight exterior hues across four trims. Today, Ford Authority outlines each one of those colors, including their pricing and availability by trim.

Of the eight colors, seven are offered across all 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning trims including XLT, Flash, Platinum, and Lariat. Most of them are no-cost hues, including Agate Black Metallic (paint code UM), Antimatter Blue Metallic (paint code HX), Carbonized Gray Metallic (paint code M7), Iconic Silver Metallic (paint code JS), Oxford White (paint code YZ), and Space White Metallic (paint code A3). As a reminder, Space White Metallic is all-new for the 2025 F-150 Lightning.
Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat (paint code D4) is also offered on all 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning trims, available as a $495 extra. Finally, the outstanding hue is Star White Metallic Tri-Coat (paint code AZ), which is exclusive to the F-150 Lightning Platinum, offered at a $995 price point.
The 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning soldiers on largely unchanged from its 2024 model year counterpart, but it does feature a few important distinctions. The factory SecuriCode keyless entry keypad is no longer available, although it’s still offered as a dealer-installed option. It also ditches its standard eLocking rear axle, which was formerly standard but is now part of the optional Max Trailer Tow Package. The Interior Work Surface feature is also gone for the XLT and Flash trims, though it’s still standard on the Lariat and Platinum.
Production of the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center is now proceeding as planned, even though it was unexpectedly idled soon after it began. Production was expected to begin in earnest in November 2024, but The Blue Oval decided to idle it for seven weeks, starting at the end of the day on November 15th, 2024 and resuming on January 6th, 2025 in response to cooling demand for the electric pickup.
Pricing for the 2025 F-150 Lightning stayed right on par with the price of its 2024 model year counterpart. The entry level XLT trim maintains its starting price of $62,995, not including destination freight charges.

Ford is crazy for getting rid of the avalanche grey. That was/is such a great color. Look at all the other companies using some sort of grey. They need to get rid of the Antimatter Blue Metallic.
