Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2015 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and Lincoln MKC models due to an issue with the rearview camera.
The defect: in affected vehicles, the rearview camera printed circuit board terminal header connector may be loose or damaged, which can result in a blank or distorted image.
The hazards: a blank or distorted rearview camera image can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Ford is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related to this issue.

Affected vehicles: select 2015 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, and F-450 models produced between September 13th, 2013, and February 28th, 2015, 2015 Expedition SUVs built from January 16th, 2014, and February 28th, 2015, 2015 Navigator SUVs produced between January 17th, 2014, and March 31st, 2015, and MKC crossovers built from August 20th, 2013, and March 31st, 2015.
Number of vehicles affected: 160,729
The fix: dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge.
Owners should: wait for communications from Ford, which will begin on May 5th, 2025. The Ford reference number for this recall is 25S42.
