Lincoln has been working to differentiate itself from the competition in various ways over the past few years, along with revamping its lineup in a big way. Thus far, those moves have paid off in terms of improving sales, but Ford’s luxury arm isn’t done making tweaks just yet. One specific method Lincoln is leaning on pertains to wellness technology, with a feature called Rejuvenate focused on helping occupants relax in various ways by using sound, touch, sight, and sense. However, it seems as if Lincoln is exploring some new partnerships in an effort to expand that endeavor, too.
“We’re going to be very selective in how we choose our partners, including even data scientists to help us validate having real science behind becoming this automotive wellness brand,” Lincoln President Dianne Craig told Automotive News in a recent interview. “The credibility part of it has to come through with real science on how it makes you feel. Whether it’s biometric data to actually have proof points that you feel better when you step out of a Lincoln versus stepping in, that’s the real magic that we start to build on the brand.”
Craig noted that Lincoln will be “purposeful” in regard to expanding its wellness partnerships, using the Calm mindfulness app as an example, since it helped co-develop a Rejuvenate theme. As Ford Authority previously reported, Lincoln plans to expand its wellness tech moving forward, adding a number of other new features to supplement Rejuvenate, though those plans haven’t been finalized yet. Thus, it’s unclear what these features might consist of, nor when we might expect to see them surface in an actual production vehicle. However, Craig did confirm that one potential option is something that she refers to as “Reinvigorate.”
As Ford Authority recently reported, Lincoln plans to continue to differentiate itself from stiff competition in the luxury vehicle market by focusing on the idea of improving wellness, which is quite comprehensive. It includes everything from specifically crafted interior and exterior design to technology such as Rejuvenate, though the brand doesn’t plan on charging consumers or forcing them to sign up for any sort of subscription to utilize those types of features, either.

Lincoln needs desperately a partnership but to build real luxury cars. With an incomplete lineup of only boring cookie cutter SUV´s and crossovers and no sedan and sports coupe, Lincoln is way behind from the companies it intends to compete against. Lincoln nowadays is nothing but a vulgar joke of what it once was. Back in the 80´s Lincoln publicity read: “What a luxury car brand should be”. Today Lincoln is exctly what a luxury car brand should NOT be.
Stop adding mmore and more wasted features adding to the price of ALL vehicles !!!!!!
Soon not only will the kids not be able to afford them but the rest of us as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
